The terrific artist Bob White sketched the flies to introduce the chapters in A Cast Away in Montana. Each unique fly plays an obvious role in most chapters, but for some, the connection is more of an Easter egg for you—the reader—to discover, although seeing the fly’s name is usually a good clue!
